Entertaining at the Rodin Museum
Written by Katharine Warden on February 21, 2013
We were thrilled to be asked to create the tablescape for a dinner for the members of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau at the Rodin Museum.
This dinner was highlighting the museum’s forthcoming program.
We selected a color palette inspired by the lavender that grows in the gardens of The Rodin Museum.
Fresh Lavender, succulents and river rocks created a very natural and beautiful tablescape.
The natural irish linens blended naturally in the newly renovated space.
The rattan chargers and herb bundles were a wonderful detail for each guest.
Stephen STARR Events prepared and served the following:
Passed Hors d’Oeuvres
Spiced Duck Confit Spring Rolls
Truffled Studded Scrambled Eggs
Smoked Salmon Millefeuille
cucumber dill relish
chanterelles, montrachet, thyme
Chick Pea Panisse
spicy eggplant chutney
Roasted Chestnut Veloute
Wild Board Raviolini, brown butter
sea salt and thyme rubbed new york sirloin, sauteed tuscan kale braised short ribs, mushroom ragout, red wine reduction, horseradish herb salad, potato gratin
Stuffed Maui Onion
roasted fall vegetables, Israeli cous cous, pomegranate-eggplant sauce
Big Thanks to John Armich Photography for capturing the evening and Stephen STARR Events for producing another wonderful event with the Philadelphia Museum of Art staff.
