Modern Mix: Architecture, Fashion and Nature at the Perelman Building

Written by Katharine Warden on August 26, 2014

Architecture surrounds and inspires us at TableArt each and everyday.
The influence for architecture, fashion and nature is full circle.
Nature is often the source of inspiration for architects, and architecture is often a source
for design innovation for the fashion industry.

The Perelman Building, located in Philadelphia, was the ideal location
for TableArt to design, create and direct a striking photo shoot featuring
the modern mix of architecture, fashion and florals.

The Art Deco facade and entrance leads to an airy, contemporary interior space
highlighted by a soaring skybridge. The design direction for the shoot was dictated
by the buildings impressive combinations of monochromatic materials,
positive and negative space, and natural light.

The color red is inherently powerful, passionate and exciting and is the color
of the chairs in the outdoor seating chairs. This design element inspired us to incorporate the
bold red and black anemone as the focal flower for our shoot.

We hope that you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed creating and staging them.
