The “Step Into Spring” event to benefit Steppingstone Scholars, Inc.
was held this past Saturday, May 7 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
The event raised more than $550,000 to support Steppingstone Scholars, Inc.,
a Philadelphia based non-profit organization that develops and implements programs that prepare underserved school children for educational opportunities that lead to college.
TableArt has been a proud supporter of the
Steppingstones Scholars, Inc. Program for 10 years.
Senator Constance H. Williams, a member of the board of directors of Steppingstone Scholars
and current Board Chair of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, was honored at the event.
Approximately 500 guests gathered to salute the work of the Steppingstone Scholars
and to honor one of the organization’s most committed and passionate supporters,
Senator Constance H. Williams. Guests included Ed Rendell and Mayor Nutter.
The event began with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner,
live auction and a live performance by John Legend.

Steppingstone Scholars, Inc. is dedicated to helping educationally underserved students in the Greater Philadelphia Region achieve academic success. Students with the potential and a community of support are prepared for admission to and success at the best public,
